Default Attention and Intention

Sitting down by the water in the rain this morning, reflecting on meditation, a realisation dawned on distinctions in aspects of my evolving meditation practice.

It occurred to me that one aspect of my practice is focused on attention. That is turning into silence and stillness, deep listening and total release.

The other context is focused on intent. This type of meditation is a centering.

The former is an expansion into infinity. The latter is a contraction into zero.

Both are wonderful experiences. The taste and senses of attention and intention.
