Smile emotional responce to life flow 10

HI Carl here,
I could do with a little help, I have been meditaitng with life flow 10 now for about 20 days and i have found that after meditating befor work i find that when i get to work i have been getting easly annoyed, is this a normal experiance for some? I am also thinking about silly things that happend to me as i have grown up and relate the incidents to the situations at work (as if to tell myself they are the cause for my anger frustration ect), is this what my newly developed nural pathways are causing?

Hi Carl, it sounds as though some negative emotions are trying to come up to be released and you are resisting them. When you feel angry or frustrated in work you have an opportunity to notice where the feeling or emotion is in your body. Then consciously be aware of the feeling and just examine it and as you do this it should gradually disperse. In the beginning, the most important thing is to become aware of it immediately before it builds up inside you. It's actually a great beginning of being able to let go of negative emotions you've probably carried around all your life - I wish you an abundance of happiness and joy on your journey of self discovery

Hi there

I had very similar experiences during the first few weeks of Lifeflow 10. I had some real outbursts of anger and couldn't believe I felt like that as it seemed to contradict what I was doing. I too was assured that this can be a normal process and, after a few weeks, these bouts of anger seemed to disperse.

I continued with Lifeflow 10 for around 2 months and have just moved onto Lifeflow 9. I feel much calmer now in general and have far less reactions emotionally to things which I would have found infuriating a few months back!

I'm sure if you stick with it and follow Pollyanna's advice about observing the emotion and detaching yourself from it, you will move forward.

Wishing you all the very best with your meditation.

Yes, I too had this in the beginning.

It has all to do with the releasing of emotions you have carried with you for a long time.
When they re-surface, you feel the emotion again, sometimes just as strong or even stronger than the event that triggered it.

If you have trouble detaching from your emotion right away, take 2-3 deep breaths. This triggers an automatic response in your body to slow down, making it easyer to look at your emotion from a distance.
By observing it, accepting it, and finally allowing yourself to "let it go", you will be free from it, for the rest of your life.

If this is hard for you to do, try the EFT method, or the Sedona Method.

Don't worry, what you are experiencing right now is quite normal, it will get better soon !

This is all very interesting. Everyone reacts to the entrainment differently. I was experiencing all these things before I found LifeFlow. Once I began listening to #10 my life seemed to snap out of it and I began feeling comfortable in my own skin. I was a wild man just previous to listening to #10.

Now I can't meditate to LifeFlow #10 or#9. I still listen to 9 daily for the entrainment effect but meditate to only Creative Flow or, many times, nothing at all like I did before coming to the LifeFlow system. My level of meditation has deepened as a result of LifeFlow but the process has been a bit confusing for me. I try not to think about it to much and just know the entrainment is working as long as I listen to the CD's everyday. Everyday I feel better so . . .

Gus

Carl I have also had similar experiences. I was aware that this sort of thing would happen and I was ready for them. I was actually grateful for the feelings and thoughts as they provided an opportunity for me to accept responsibility for them and simply "release" them. I still have them occasionally and when I do I have a sense of gratitude and a feeling of making progress as I release them.

Like just about everyone else here, I experienced what you are talking about when i first started meditating as well.

Don't worry, you are not alone. Take Pollyana's advice, it is the best thing you can do.

Love,
Eric
