I am not pretending to explain this - but here are some thoughts.
Your left side crosses to the right brain and your right side crosses to the left brain. Left brain is the pragmatic, logical, scientific side. Right brain is the creative, intuitive, insightful side.
Meditation tends to balance these two complementary sides of the brain - it is tempting to think this is what you are experiencing.
Perhaps it would be helpful to try to describe the sensations you are experiencing in a neutral way rather than the judgmental 'good' and 'not so good'
When in the meditation state I sometimes experience on one side of the body a warm buzzing flow of subtle sensations and on the other side a sharp, uncomfortable sensation running up to the throat. They both come and go and I observe them both with interest.
