Using Entrainment Without Meditation
When I just run the audio in the background and do other things without actually meditating, I can feel a very powerful pain relieving effect without having to face any of my inner demons. Is this because the entrainment is triggering endorphins in my brain, and is this safe to use as often as I want. I saw the warnings about not over meditating, but I'm wondering if this is different.
Thanks.

Yes, the effects of the entrainment will still happen even if you're not meditating, however the greater benefit is gained from doing it during meditation as you are quietening/stilling the mind and allowing the entrainment to get in more easily. An analogy would be to consider trying to drive to your workplace..., if there's lots of traffic on the road (the mind is actively involved in something) then you'll still get to work, but it won't be quick, whereas if there road is quiet of other traffic (the mind is stilled) then you'll get to work much quicker.
As for whether entrainment triggers endorphines in the brain, I'm not sure, as I'm not familiar with the physiological effects of entrainment in that respect, though certainly one can feel different/better during and after using it.
As with listening to say, hypnosis tracks etc. caution should be exercised when listening to entrianment tracks if you are in control of anything that could potentially be life threatening e.g. driving, as anything that can cause an altered state of brainwaves can be seen as a distraction. If you're just pottering around the house doing general tasks for yourself, then it shouldn't be a problem.
In terms of how often, I would suggest it's best to use it occassionally, e.g. 2 or three times a day at most, rather than on a more continual basis. Too much of anything is usually not good for you, and giving the brain a chance to process the entrainment waves between sessions is likely to be the best way.
Hugs
Giles

What Giles says sounds logical, as the human body seems to work in the same way with muscles.
Athletes are on strict training schedules, where they excercise for a period of time, and then take periods of rest allowing the body the time to build new muscle tissue in those area's where it is needed, and even repair those places where strain has caused tissue damage.
Even tho the brain is different from a mucle, it would seem logical that the same strategy is needed. But I am no expert, that's for sure !
Like Giles said, everything with the word too in front is bad for you.

Hi there and welcome to the community
Just thought I would add a link for you about the benefits of entrainment on it's own:-
Do I have to meditate to get results?
and another with clips of scientific reports including a chart which shows the entrainment benefits of each LifeFlow Level including Optimal Learning, Creative Flow and the gamma tracks (Nirvana and Awaken)
Brainwave States
I personally play some tracks often through the day. Creative Flow, Optimal Learning and Peace and Harmony when I am working at my computer, during business meetings, writing, studying.
I play Classical Magic sometimes when I'm working in the office, often when I'm preparing dinner for family and friends, always as they arrive and quietly throughout the meal.
My grandchildren have their own favourites for going to sleep and doing homework. My 9 year old grandson wrote a list of likes and dislikes for a recent 5 day school trip to Paris and high at the top of his dislikes was the fact that he wouldn't have LifeFlow to go to sleep with
We certainly make use of all the ways you can benefit from the various tracks and we do benefit immensely, as I'm sure you will continue to do. Look forward to hearing how you progress and I wish you much peace and joy

Thanks! That is a really cool idea.
I am already benefiting greatly. Today I even quit taking my toxic schizophrenia medication (Care should be taken when doing this-always talk to your doctor first), and I'm feeling better then I have in years.

Love yourself and your inner demons. Even in the greatest dispair, take them in and love them with your utmost fervor, as they are part of you and you are part of all that is.
All the best and lots of love,
Phil

When you sign up for Lifeflow, such tracks become available from your download page.
