So how´s it going with EnlightenQ?
Its a while ago now, that EnlightenQ was released to the public, and i wonder - how´s it going for you? Are you still practicing it?
My experience:
Tried the first practice a few weeks, but had only one markable experience. Thats quiet little compared to meditaton for me. As im a bit impatient and lazy, i just stopped it (never started again, also because there are still now markable posts about EnlightenQ on the forum).
So i wonder... anyone still practicing it?

Hi,
Great post/topic, this is something I’ve been wondering about for a while.
Personally I dropped using the guided meditation, it just didn’t do much for me and it seemed my mind just wanted to play about during it. Also it took quite a long time to go through it and I couldn’t see it adding much value.
The focus Q practice with the bowl (CD4) I have continued since the day it was released and have only missed one day! I have yet to feel “the amazing feeling” to move onto the actual Q technique (yes I have been that stubborn, I haven’t moved on ), but I do seem to drop into focus more at times during the Q practice. But I am willing to continue this practice as it only takes 5 minutes after meditation (I only do 3 sounds per session).
I have been meaning to go through it all again to refresh my memory but even though I never brought into the marketing hype I do feel a bit let down by EnlightenQ as it wasn't cheap. I’ll be very interested to hear what other people have experienced if they have continued with it. To see if its my use of the product that’s been the issue or possibly the product itself.

Wow, you´re brave in that Mr.Monkey, but still no result!! I can only assume that we missed something important in that process. Maybe someone else here with better results?

Has Michael made any claims about the timespan within which enlightenment should occur ?

Off the top of my head I’m can’t remember, but although it would have been very nice indeed to be fully enlightened by now , I never thought this would be a super quick fix.
I’m not hacked off about it or anything, I was just hoping for a more noticeable changes by now. I'm stilll persisting with the Q-practice as I can see it is something for which the effects build over time/practice - plus it doesn't eat up too much of my time .
Hopefully a few more people can share there experiences as I would be very interested to hear either way, and as Pan says through others experiences maybe we can see if/where we're going wrong.

It has certainly gone very quiet as regards EnlightenQ and I suspect that this is because just about everyone is in the same boat.
I have been practising the Q Exercise daily from the beginning and can now recognise my unique feeling and the stillness that accompanies it.
At the moment I have no intention of moving on to the practice of the Q Technique itself as I still feel that I can move into an area of even deeper silence with the Q Exercise and I intend to develop this further before I proceed to the next step.
My view is that my meditation experience has deepened considerably since I began the Q Exercise and I am fully prepared to be patient and let things progress slowly.
Best wishes,
Keith

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the response, its encouraging hearing you’ve made good progress.
Can you let me know if you use the guided meditation regularly? I can’t see me missing it out would affect my Q practice but I’ve been wrong before.... .

Enlightement? Thats high claims... i guess its more about something positive for your mind/body, that everyone expects who spends so much money on such a hyped product. Hows it going for you, Edwin?

EQ
I have been using the EQ resource for some months.
The Q exercise was a different experience for me, having meditated only with the Vipassana technique for many years.
I found the exercise to be quite profound and challenging to begin with, bringing up a lot of physical pain in the heart area, but when this settled, my unique feeling began after a few gongs and then it began as soon as as I started the exercise and I could experience it at will anywhere.
The next stage I haven't yet found beneficial. The effort is too 'effortful' and the supposed rebound doesn't work for me. I am used to letting go in meditation and tend to reach the meditative state quite quickly both in formal sitting and during the day when I try to maintain awareness during ordinary tasks.
Perhaps I was seduced by the 'enlightenment' promise when I know fine well that I should be 'giving no thought to enlightenment'! (Dogen Zenji)
