Dear all,
I am posting (with the permission of the Author) an extract from a workbook I am working on in these days. This specific topic is about life being a mirror to our own nature.
I find it very interesting, and I would love to hear what your thoughts on the subject are.
Thanks in advance for any comments!

Our personality believes that what we think and feel inside has no bearing on outer reality. In truth, our inner state plays a key role in creating our outer reality. The energy of the thoughts and feelings in both our conscious and subconscious minds attracts people and situations to us that hold the very same energies. In this way, our world reflects who we are back to us.
We get clues about our unconscious programming if we pay attention to everything that upsets us. When outer events spark a reaction from us, we can look inside to explore what’s going on.
The outer incidents that trigger these reactions in us simply MIRROR our own nature. Consider this: If I didn't have beliefs around the issues that upset me, where would my reactions come from? If I didn't have some internal reference, I wouldn’t react at all.
If you have trouble believing this, you may prefer another perspective. Consider that we have subconscious sensitivities to what happens around us. When a situation occurs that we detest or do not want to experience, our inner programming is activated and we react.
When we become aware of how we project our own issues, we can clear the repressed energies and heal. We also stop blaming – we no longer make others responsible for our feelings.
P.S. Just as we can be unconscious of our wounds, we can also be unconscious of our strengths. If you are really drawn to the positive qualities in another person, you are being invited to own those same qualities in yourself.
