Default Boredom

so ive been doing TM with lifeflow here for like a week for the hour duration.
Its so freakin hard though! I think to myself when its gonna end usually.
I just get very bored repeating my mantra "In peace" in my head............

If you are new to meditation, probably you should take it a bit easier. May be instead of going with the full hour (I assume you are on CDs, given the mp3 are 40 minutes) try to start with 20, then after a week add another 10 minutes, and so on.
Easing into it may help, I think... I think it is better doing 20 minutes, enjoying them, then 60 with a "when the heck this is going to finish" feeling!

Good advice Charlie Brown.

In fact, if someone is very new to meditation then even consider starting with 10 minutes and increasing by 5 or 10 minutes each week as you feel comfortable.

I have an inner timer. If i get to feel uncomfortable, i usually stop my meditation because at this point it would be useless to meditate anyway. Trying to hard is useless when meditating i think...besides the regularity.

I had this problem half way through Level 9, and I just stuck through it as best as I could.. sometimes discontinuing after 25/30 mins. Just started level 8, and it's going great again, just like level 10.
