I am familiar with the concept of "no thing" and feel I need to clarify some things about your post to those who are unfamiliar with the concept.

The no-thing is ( in my opinion ) about 2 things, no attachment to things, and it also refers to the concept of "space" within you. One person to often point in that direction is Eckhart Tolle. When creating a distance between the "you" and the thoughts and emotions that you once thought "was" you, your world will be transformed.

It is one of the key ingredients to enlightenment.

when letting go of your thoughts and emotions, you automatically let go of your cravings to worldly things, especially those that you before felt were nessacary to "enjoy life more than you do now".

More money, a bigger house, a bigger car, you get my drift.

The joy of living, of fully enjoying life no matter where you are and what kind of life you are living at that moment, can only be experienced fully by no-thing.

Good to hear you are doing ok Mitch ! Enjoy your Easter weekend !

Exactly. Because you are "no thing"... then things are not who you are. We are the thing, or the thing that is not actually a thing (or space as you call it), that allows things to happen. So when people try to find themselves in things, they get attached.

We might have been pointing to the same thing here. I just want to get down to the root of things, whittle away everything until only one thing is left...no thing. Does that make any sense?

Excellent post Edwin. Thanks.

Mitch
