Default New and skeptical? Or maybe just confused

Hi all- I'm not even sure how I ended up at life flow but here I am. I've been using holosync for almost 3 years. It's time to order a new cd- somewhere in that process I stumbled on life flow- I've been reading through the site for days, trying to decide if I should switch. I've seen many other switchers who said they weren't dissatisfied, nor really satisfied with holosync (right where I'm at). And many who said they progressed more with life flow. Ive been through quite a bit in this life and was beginning to think maybe I'm more broken than others- maybe that's why I haven't seen the leaps and bounds others have. There has been improvement- in fact- I credit holosync (among other tools) for helping me through the worse time of my life- the sudden and unexpected death of my little boy. Yet, still, after 3 years im still filled with the anxiety ive struggled with my entire adult life. I read on this site that just listening to entrainment is not meditation- which was news to me- and explained a lot-- still with so much already invested- & not as much satisfaction as I'd hoped for, I'm a little reluctant to try life's low (yet desperate for some serious internal relief) I'm asking - does this really work better? I am in a strict budget, which is why I have not ordered that other cd yet. I have many tools for recovery- but mediation and changing my thinking has been the most effective. Ugh- maybe there is no question- I just need to know this works- before I invest more money-

Hi Jenna and welcome to the community

First of all I am really sorry to hear about your tragic loss.

There are benefits to relaxing to good entrainment tracks, however, you are right in understanding that just listening to any entrainment track is not meditation.

I completely understand your dilemma as I have invested much time and money in a number of things before LifeFlow.

The first thing I can recommend, if you have not learned how to meditate is to download the free Discover Meditation course and you will have some idea of the quality of Project Meditations products. You can then meditate to the 14 minute demo. The physical pack has a refund policy if you are not happy with it and each download level has a refund policy also. You will find the support staff extremely helpful if you want to ask about this or any other concerns you may have.

If you haven't read the following links, I hope you find them useful.

Whatever you decide, I wish you much peace and joy

I agree with Polly, download the free Discover Meditation and get into the meditation part of practice, then consider adding Lifeflow later (I haven't used Holosync myself, but I have read the stories of others, and I know why I picked Lifeflow).

Also, before ordering lifeflow, contact the admin/support team as they are very amenable and can offer ways to purchase it to suit yourself, including (but not limited to) receiving it at longer periods than every month (e.g. every other month if you prefer) or stopping at any point will the option to re-start receiving it later.

Hope that helps, and I can assure you, you are not broken.

Hugs

Giles

Just want to welcome you to the community, and to say that you have all my deep sympathy for what you have experienced. If you search through the forum, youll find plenty of satisfied formal Holosync users. As polly said, just try the demo, nothing to lose.

Hugs,
Phil
