Default Very Quiet

It's very quiet on here lately....... Which is a bit of an oxymoron for a meditation forum

Is it holiday season?

Peace

Hi Karmoh,
I've been listening to the audio book version of Paul Wilson's "The Quiet". All I can say is, "Wow!". I'm currently on Chapter 5 and I cannot believe how much valuable stuff is in that book. Thank you for telling us about it.
But yes, in answer to your question, it is a holiday. Hindus in Hertfordshire are having a 2 day festival celebrating the birth of Krishna. How's that?

Yes it is a very simple book, but the content is spot-on!

Krishna and only 2 days

Peace

Sadly not for me! I guess that could be a reason but it has been pretty quiet of late.

Actually, I was wondering how Edwin was doing as he used to post pretty frequently but nothing for a week or two, but maybe he's just having a well earned rest

I've seen Edwin posting on Facebook, so I know he's about.

I think it may just come down to what discussions are happening and whether there's any further input to be provided, as there's little point in repeating some of the excellent answers already given.

Hugs

Giles

Hi Edwin, I thought you had gone off to a mountain top to seek silence for a few weeks but then I realised that Holland is fairly flat

Default mountaintops

Anyone know a good mountaintop that doesn't involve flying to get there:

We've had rain - hurrah

peace and joy to all

We have negative mountaintops here ;-) The lowest point of Holland is about 6,75 meters below flood level ( the highest point a normal flood can reach in the ocean, not counting flash floods that can occur during storms ). But I think most people would feel uncomfortable meditating there
