Just a question
Hello community members. I m very pleased of your website Micheal. By the way I just bought Life Flow 10 yesterday in an mp3 format. I m a meditation beginner and I want to know what is the best strategy to get the most of the sessions either to have 40 min of non stop Life Flow 10 or take 20 min morning and 20 min evening. Thank you again for your forum.

Hello!
Welcome to the forum, Sa!
The effect of Lifeflow beginnes after 8 minutes, a warming up so to speak.
So in order to get the most of your session is to go for the full length.
Do not worry if you find it too long in the beginning, this is quite normal.
Do you use a mantra? Or do you watch your breath?
If you do find time for an extra session, try to meditate without Lifeflow.
I find the quietness (depends on where you live, though..) rather
refreshing.
I have the cd's and noticed that the last twenty minutes of the hour that it lasts,
are the best. Thought you like to know.

sa,
If a full 40 minutes is just to much to bear, cut it in half. I know when I first began to meditate 40 minutes was like an eternity. In the beginning, so you can get the benefit of entrainment, you could read for 20 minutes while listening to LifeFlow and meditate for 20 minutes. Or any combination thereof.
BTW welcome to LifeFlow :0

Hello, everyone, perhaps someone can help me. I just purchased the lifeflow10 mp3, monthly subscription and listened to my first 40 minute session last night. I, must report that presently, not very happy with the soundtrack for the meditation. The annoying sound of the "cricket" for 40 minutes, left my ears very tired and headachy. I, felt the rest of the soundtrack was great, with the water, the wind, the tones etc.........but I would compare the annoying sound of the cricket to "fingernails being scraped on a chalkboard" is anything but relaxing or meditative. I dont know if all the other meditations utilize the cricket background noise or not. Can someone please advise and help me.........thanks.

Thank goodness no, every soundtrack is enterely different, with sounds like thunderstorms, bubbles and whales, waves on the beach, windchimes and what sounds like some sort of small fountain, I always picture a Zen garden here
Maybe playing with the volume button will get you through, or you can simply wait for the next one and do that one for 2 months

That would not be a wise thing to do. One should never rush through braintrain programs.
I find a remarkable difference between 10 and 9, when I made the switch two days ago....
What I advice Vince to do, is to go to the electronic store and try various of headphones.
The bigger the frequency range the better. Besides, it is a minor investment compare to what Lifeflow costs, and it certainly will give more pleasure as you go down the program.
IMHO!
Go for it Vince and keep in touch.

Ooh you triggered my ego !
I was about to defend my point ( or actually myself ) very passionately !
I have something to work on again with myself
I agree rushing through brain training programs is not wise.
It must have come across that way by saying that he could skip LifeFlow 10.
Obviously the best thing is to stick with every track for the time recommended. You can even wait longer than a month before skipping to the next level if you feel you are not ready to go on yet.
However, if a sound like the cricket annoys you so much, having to listen to it for a month might very well be torture in my opinion.
Skipping one level and extending or doubling the time of that one level is not harmfull ( in fact, LifeFlow is not harmfull at all no matter what you do with it ). In the end, after a year and having completed LifeFlow, you are free to switch between LifeFlow levels that you feel like listening to, each for their special benificiary effect.
But going for a headphone of good quality like you said is always a good idea

Funny how something can be triggered which doesn't exist at all....
No offence off course my dear fellow!
