Unfortunately, if you keep telling yourself that you will simply re-enforce that belief. So let's start to change that belief shall we. *you nod in agreement at this point*

How about a little exercise for you to practice...

I prescribe you a positive affirmation to be repeated 10 times and administered 3 times a day. Something along the lines of...

"I am in a happy and fullfilling relationship"

The thing with positive affirmations is that you don't have to necessarily consciously believe what you are saying. By repeating the affirmation you awaken your unconscious mind to the belief that the statement is true. It will then raise it's awareness to anything that occurs around you that fits in with that unconscious belief, therefore giving the appearance of having things drawn to you that you need to make it true. This is the law of attraction at work.

If you want to create your own positive affirmation remember the golden rules: Always state it as if you already have it and in the present tense. Your unconscious mind will not work with things in the future or with wants and desires. Make it believe it's already there now.
