I did the same kind of thing to affirm my aims to be an artist. i would move from place to place a lot and would have too many obstacles and challenges sometimes that i became down and lethargic, and lost sight of my goal. a friend of mine gave me a photo album of all the places id painted and the murals that id completed and it reminded me of what i had achieved. it worked so well that i made a website and then one of those frames that change picture technologically with affirming pictures, kind of like a mind movie.

Thank You for Sharing
Martin,
Thank you so much for telling me about your website. I went there and was inspired, uplifted, filled with joy, and laughed as I looked at your paintings, photographs—that one tree was amazing—and read some of your life story and philosophy. I look forward to reading and pondering the many wonderful quotes you shared.
Have you noticed how more and more people are becoming aware, how they are no longer interested in playing the many games that society says they should? I am amazed and grateful for the wonderful people like you that I’m meeting on this forum. For example, just this week I met D. (Darren) James Albert from Australia. (If you get a chance take a look at his website at: D.James Albert - Official Website I have ordered Darren’s book and am reading it now. I read a lot, and let me tell you, this is one amazing book. I’ve read 50 pages of this 375 page book so far, and I’m looking forward to reading more.
I’ve mentioned in other posts in this forum that I use to be VERY active in organized religion. Presently, I am no longer so; I no longer affiliate myself with any organized religion. However, I am still inspired by words from the Bible. What I sense happening in the world reminds me of these two excerpts from the Old Testament.
In the first excerpt, two young men, Eldad and Medad, are found prophesying in the camp of Israel. Thinking that Moses will be displeased because someone beside himself is talking with God, this is reported to Moses.
“And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them. And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD'S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!” (Numbers 11:27-29)
The next excerpt is something I am noticing coming to pass more and more among all people of all nations. Truly this is a joyous and amazing time we’re living in.
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:” (Joel 2:28)
So, I am so grateful for people here like Darren and you, Martin, who have chosen to share some of the things you’re passionate about. Truly as the following excerpt so beautifully says: “We are ALL meant to shine.” I wish you all joy and laughter this day. Take care. Keith
Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
This inspiring quote by Marianne Williamson is from her book, A Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles, Harper Collins, 1992. From Chapter 7, Section 3 (Pg. 190-191).

I've been a lottery ticket fantasizer for decades but it was only when a friend showed me his visualization that something hit me. He has created a copy of a lottery check with his name and the dollar amount he wants and carries it in his wallet to look at a few times a day. However, something I read in a Daily Quote from Abraham-Hicks suggests that the Universe has a sense of fun and humor and doesn't like being told what to do. Rather than limiting our openness to abundance through one avenue, I'm just aiming for visualizing a monetary comfort level and letting the Universe figure out how to get it to me. I just had a feeling (a whisper from somewhere, if you like) that suggests, "Sure, you can wait for the lottery but I hate to mention that your numbers won't come up for 1276 years. Are you sure you want to wait that long? However, get into the correct vibration, learn to be open and I can surprise you as early as tomorrow... or whenever you're ready for it."

Congratulations on your website Balaam. I'm impressed with your art, especially with your photography. You have a good eye. (I used 'be' a photographer and I recognize talent when I see it!) I encourage you to continue express your creativity in whatever way life calls you to do.
Also it's nice to see someone uphold vegetarianism. I've been one off and on for the last 30 years and am now determined to not eat any more meat! The way animals are treated in the 'meat industry' is horrifying, not to mention what it does to those who ingest those vibes.

All affirmations should be positive, in the present and should be experienced emotionally. So yes it sounds as if it is just right
Enjoy using it and good luck
I need to make one myself - I have been using the custom made movies which are really good. It would be even better to make it personal

It's a bit long but quite fun with a happy ending!
What a beautiful mind movie, Pollyanna and certainly not too materialistic. I like the balance between helping others and having a nurturing environment in which your family can enjoy life and recharge their batteries. And I certainly agree that music is a powerful addition - it really gets my emotions going when I hear certain songs. Kinda makes me think I should make my own mind movie.... Hmmmmm I might just do that!

Hi Bhavya, just made time to watch the validation video you promoted - love it!! It reminds me of something I read many years ago - we're each millionaire's, with smiles, validation, appreciation and love to give away. The more we give away the more we keep having to give away - the more we spend, the richer we become. Thank-you.
Flossie, your mind movie for losing weight and getting fit sounds great. Edwin or someone may be able to help you with the technical issues.
Apart from the obvious reasons of losing weight, maybe write down all the reasons why you want to do this because this will stir up the passion within you.
A mind movie is a great visual aid and exciting when you create a good one, however it's like any habit - we have to follow through and keep watching it - once a day or whatever you choose - keeping your emotions aligned to how you feel with the accomplishment of the goal. Peace, joy, happiness and an abundance of smiles to you all

I would love to make a mind movie of God's love totally taking over my heart and mind and being able to have a place where people learn of His love for all people of the world and where children can learn to His love and peace for all .
