Default Lifelow is too long?

hi!
I am kinda new here and sorry my question sounds stupid.
I've just done cd 1 of discover meditation and according to Mr.Mackenzie, most of the time 10-20 minutes of meditation is enough.Over meditation is also dangerous.
However,in a review,i read that the lifeflow tracks are 40 minutes long.So how am I supposed to use it?
Please reply soon.
Thank you
(P.S ,I am only 12, so again sorry if my question is stupid)

Hi arpwer,

No offence intended, but I think the legal limit for anyone taking part in online forums is age 13 without parental consent.

In answer to your question though, as meditation is ok for any age, if you would want to use the lifeflow tracks for less than the 40 minutes of the downloaded version (or the 60 minutes of the purchased CD versions), you can always set your CD player to start playing the track at a different place e.g. start it from the 20 minutes mark to listen to the last 20 minutes. Lifeflow doesn't require that you listen to the start or the end of the track for the benefits.

Giles

Hi, arpwer,
Welcome to the forum. How wonderful -- and how wise -- that you have chosen to put some of your youthful energy into meditation. Ten or 15 or 20 minutes will be enough as a beginning practice, but over time you'll probably want to extend it to 40 minutes or more. Then you will be happy to have the longer tracks. But there is no rush. Enjoy the experience and let it unfold for you. Best wishes, Margaret
