I'm trying to spread the word even further, so with that in mind.

I have just created a group for project meditation on FaceBook and I'm about to post about the meditation for world peace.

If you are a member of FaceBook, would love to see you in the group.

Default Confirmation link corrupted?

I've registered using the invitation link and replied to the confirmation email twice now and this is what I get... something broken?

Hi,

I would just do the meditation and not worry too much about the registration.

You got about 3 hours to go. 20.00 EDT (New York, USA)

Take care
Rob

That was so powerful, that joining together for the peace of the world. Thank you all. I feel very touched to have been part of this.
May we all join as One World, One Family in continuing compassion and generosity.

Default Thank you

Hello everyone. My name is Keith. I grew up on a small farm in Sun River Valley, Montana. I am 50 years old. My wife and I have been married for over 26 years. We live on a half acre lot in Lindon, UT. My wife has a horse, and I have a big vegetable garden. I have been so touched as I've read through your posts. Pollyanna, thank you for mentioning you had a granddaughter. In my imagination, I'd like to invite you all over to my backyard for dinner and a visit around the fire pit. I feel so grateful for how technology allows people of one heart to connect so easily. I could go on and on about how in reading your individual posts, I've felt loved and a part of something that is good and runs deep through all of us. Bhavya, thank you for mentioning Gregg Braden. I downloaded some podcast interviews with him. I was particularly touched as I listened to him explain about the “divine matrix” that connects all things. In a way that I had never realized before, I learned that peace manifests when we feel peace deep in our hearts, when we awaken and realize that we are peace. And so, as I meditated yesterday in my backyard for peace, I closed my eyes and pictured in my mind and felt deeply in my heart the feelings of peace. I felt the strength of old gnarled trees and the calmness of deep running waters. I felt the breeze softly sighing in and out through our big shade tree. I felt peace in my heart as I saw people across the world pausing and smiling at one another. After a few minutes, I opened my eyes and looked up into the sky. I was amazed to see a single white dove, or pigeon, circling in the blue sky in front of me. Anyway, thank you all. Thank you for blessing me with your presence.

Default Keith Again

I am honored that I was able to be a part of something that unfolded through a simple suggestion by Edwin. A day was chosen for Project Meditation members to meditate for peace. It turned out that the day chosen was the same as the international Peace One Day. ( Peace One Day ) Truly, as Gregg Bradden, as well as many others, says we are all connected. The humble way how things unfolded here reminds me of an excerpt I read in Thomas Merton’s book "New Seeds of Contemplation."

“If you were truly humble you would not bother about yourself at all. Why should you? You would only be concerned with God and with His will and with the objective order of things and values as they are, and not as your selfishness wants them to be. Consequently you would have no more illusions to defend. Your movements would be free. You would not need to be hampered with excuses which are really only framed to defend you against the accusation of pride—as if your humility depended on what other people thought of you!
A humble man can do great things with an uncommon perfection because he is no longer concerned about incidentals, like his own interests and his own reputation, and therefore he no longer needs to waste his efforts in defending them.
For a humble man is not afraid of failure. In fact, he is not afraid of anything, even of himself, since perfect humility implies perfect confidence in the power of God, before Whom no other power has any meaning and for Whom there is no such thing as an obstacle.
Humility is the surest sign of strength.” (pgs. 189-190)

Like many who have posted here, thank you for sharing btw , I too felt the peace from within.

Because I felt I wanted to do something special for peace, I did my first whole hour meditation last sunday.
I usually only managed to stay in meditation for 20-40 minutes, but this time I held on and finished after exactly one hour.

I have felt calmness in every living cell within me, and it kept on going until the next morning. It was like the essence of peace was radiating from my body.
I can still feel the effects !

I think the idea of doing more of these meditations is a wonderfull idea.

I also found out that the mail I sent to MillionMeditators.com arrived a tad too late, I got this message the monday after our Peace-meditation:

Edwin got your message. I’m on tour at the moment, communicating through clumsy (and expensive to use I’m discovering) iphone. My PA sent out a message through our personal mail list. Can’t access Million Meditators list from this device. Thanks for your support. Sending you peace and quiet. Paul

From Paul’s Iphone (on the road)

I was quite amazed to get an email from Paul Wilson himself, the guy known as "the Guru of Calm".

I told him we are thinking about repeating this experiment, and maybe we can team up with those guys in the future.
I would like to ask you guys to register on his site too, it's free, no hidden agenda, he made this site to make people see that they are a part of a bigger group of meditators.
The first entry on his site was the Dalai Lama

Does anyone here have any thoughts on when and how to repeat this ?
Should we do this every week ? every Month ? just one more time ?

Hope to hear from you guys

Like I said, I am all for it and would go for having a new forum completely dedicated to it as a weekly thing. I think that would be awesome!

Much love,
Eric
