Interesting stuff. Eckart recently had a series of 10 90 minute interviews with Oprah. Really good as well and with the additional time they really work into many issues. The ten episodes correspond to the ten chapters in his book "A New Earth" The thrust of the book is about disengagement of the ego (which is unfair to put in so few words as there is much much more but....)which dovetails nicely with the lifeflow meditation. Lifeflow has helped me in getting to a place of internal quiet and begin to address some of the points that Tolle writes about. They work together very well. I find myself relistening to the downloads as meditations also and coming from a space that I believe I got to via Lifeflow that allows me to understand what Tolle speaks about in a fuller way.
The series of talks are downloadable from Oprahs website.
Yes, they're a great resource for a truly remarkable book. You can get mp3 or video. It would be great if they made a DVD set for sale to go with his book. Maybe they will one day. There are also exercises on Oprah's site.
Meditation and Eckhart Tolle are an amazing combination.
I like that craig, lifeflow has helped me to climb out of a very deep pit. feels like i can see the top of the mountain. love and best wishes to all XX
I actually stepped outside the pain body for a while yesterday.
It was profound in the fact that it as really like another entity in your body. It gives you thoughts and feelings to dwell on because that's how it survives. Not a bad thing, just a survival mechanism for it.
The funny thing is if thoughts came up, I knew that they were from this pain body, and it wanted me to get sucked in.
It is very seductive, and can take over without you realizing again. But this is okay because you can chip away at it by releasing old emotions.
I sound like I have schizophrenia reading this, but I have absolute conviction that the pain body is a real entity. I didn't "speak" to it, but when I stepped out of it, I intuitively knew what it was all about and came to these realizations on my own
