I've been in the creative arts all my life.
Music mainly although I've done other things.
You're probably getting mechanical.
Creativity is about stillness and letting go of fixed concepts.
When I reach for the piano, and I can listen to it,it writes all the songs for me.
When I am singing,If I can enter the dimension of becoming one with the song and stop worrying about technique, the vocal flows beautifully because I'm not restricting it to my pre-conceived idea of it.

Happy creating.

You are right I have a thing for order and doing things in a certain order I guess with time and consistent meditation I will be able to get this handled thanks billyboy that made a lot of sense

As far as understanding or not fully understanding the words someone speaks, that's not essential. It can be helpful, certainly, but of far more importance is to feel the sense of presence that supports the words. As an example, which of these makes more of an impact on you:

A) Hearing someone speak the words, "I love you," or,
B) Feeling the love deep within your heart that another person offers you?

It's a similar concept with spirituality. Better to feel the spirit of the words with your Spirit than to merely hear the words with your ears or read them with your eyes and know with your brain what they mean. It's great if you can do both, but if you have to choose between the two, choose the Spirit. Every time. नमस्ते
WOW,
I have really enjoyed re-reading this amazing thread from two and a half years ago. So many caring and compassionate beings leave such wisdom here.

This particular post stood out to me personally because of the part about speaking/hearing the words "I Love You" and feeling the love deep within your heart that another person/being offers you. I am deeply grateful for all the love given and received in my life.

It brought to mind a scenario that happens each evening as I am sitting down, relaxing, I gaze into the eyes of my beloved dog as he sprawls out on the rug and feel the deep love I feel for him. He immediately gets up, walks over to me, places his giant paw on my knee, rests his head on my chest and looks into my eyes with what seems like adoration. This knowing that we feel for each other is a joy to experience every single time

Thankyou to all contributors to this wonderful thread and I wish you all, and those who read it an abundance of love, peace and joy
