"Yes, there are many great teachings out there. We just have to take from them what makes sense to us and not get tied up or discouraged/put-off by those things that we don't accept or go against our own beliefs. I've heard some people who have gone to the local buddhist meditation classes say that they won't go again, because they don't believe in karma and reincarnation. That's a shame, because it's limiting themselves from learning about all the other great teachings that come from buddhism. Maybe one day they'll realise this and will find what they need."
wouldn't this world be a beautiful place if people use more common sense.
