From what I read in all the quote's, both from Bible as well as other sources, it seems that numerous people over the past centuries have "found salvation" or, in today's words, "reached enlightenment".
Summing up the things I recognised from all those wonderfull quotes you posted:
-You can only reach enlightenment by looking inside. You will never reach it anywhere else.
-By silence, or today's popular word "stilness" you can receive enlightenment
-When you do, you recognise God ( or if you aren't religious "the Universe") inside you, as part of you and you part of God.
There is more wisdom to be found in the quote's, but these spoke to me.
