Yes those you are explaining are what is known as desires

I don't think you truely can find an answer for what you are looking for, it is not as simple as an "yes" or a "no"

What is required for you ti visualize your desires is that you already can feel that you have whatever you desire, and someone do this best by write they statements down on a paper, and read it aloud, some create a mindmovie, some simply just visualize whatever they desire in they mind, so it is something that you have to figure out yourself, whatever feels right for you is the right method to do so

I don't know to much about the so called "wanting mode" but i mean visualize is basically sayning what you want, and then create the feeling that you already have it .

I don't think you need to worry to much about it, again what feels right to you is the right way
