Default Stopping internal dialogue during meditation

hi folks, just thought i'd share a tip i read on calming your inner dialogue during meditation.

the technique is to touch the roof of your mouth just behind your teeth with the tip of your tongue.

This works on the basis that mind & body are one system. Internal dialogue is accompanied by tiny micro-muscle movements of the tongue & larynx. When these movements are restricted the internal voice stops.

does anyone do this already with this purpose in mind?
