I usually have to get over these periods of gloom.
For me the best way to do so is to fully immerse myself in this feeling, and crawl out by my own.
This works remarkably well for me, it always has as I am by nature an optimist.
I just wonder if these small periods of unhappyness influence the LOA, these periods take about 20 % of my time and being happy the other 80 %.
Always being happy is impossible in my opinion ( not to mention extremely annoying to the people directly around you

) so I think I am still doing it right.
