The Law of Attraction
Just thought I would share how I use what is commonly described as the "Law Of Attraction".
This is what I do.
For me the goal was never weight loss... not really sure why anyone would want weight loss as a goal because to me I equate weight loss with sickness...
MY goal is to be healthy...
I want to be healthy.
One of the first things I say to myself in the present tense...
"I am physically fit".
Then I ask myself... Why do I want to be healthy?
The answer... because I will feel better.
Then I ask myself...What can I do to feel better?
The answer comes to me and I start doing those things.
Here is a list of some of those things:
I eat whole fresh fruits usually in the form of a smoothie for breakfast everyday with powdered vitamins minerals protein and fiber.(I create my own combination based on what feels right for me.)
I eat whole fresh vegetables everyday.
I walk vigorously for over an hour using a heart rate monitor to keep my heart rate up.
I bike ride for over an hour also with a heart rate monitor.
I use some light dumbells
I do sit ups.
I do any and all of these things when I feel like it...which is most every day(except in the winter).
I do not get upset with myself if I skip a day(week month) of exercise or don't eat right.
This in addition to my meditation keeps the endorphines flowing...and I feel better and I feel Healthy.
The result....I have lost weight but not much maybe 5 pounds and still weigh more then I "should" for my height and am heavier then my lowest adult weight.... but most importantly for me.... I look and feel better and other people say so.
I am wearing smaller size clothes and my old pants fall off of me. But in reality I have not lost any weight.
I have acheived my goal!!!
