Hi there Paulmed and welcome to the community. You certainly sound like you're on the right track. Although I often play Classical Magic, Creative Flow or Optimal Learning when I am working on the computer, I always meditate when using LifeFlow to meditate with.
In fact, using LifeFlow has enabled me to now meditate on my own (if I am a passenger and don't have a C.D. or ipod with me.) I prefer to meditate with LifeFlow generally though because it seems easier to stabalize the state.
I believe it's very important to spend time and become familiar with all the levels. After meditating with all the levels including the gamma tracks I have enjoyed going back to LF10 and continued to experience more and more benefits in my daily life and I now know meditation is ongoing and accumulative.
With regards to your question about have you lost out for the last 4 years?
I believe I invested many years and a lot of money to learn to meditate and finally succeeded massively with LifeFlow and Discover Meditation - the main thing is, I kept looking and didn't give up and I now enjoy tremendous benefits.
Here's a link to a thread which you may find very interesting - before you read it, you may choose to get a glass of water or cup of tea or coffee because it is quite a lengthy read but well worth it:-
Principles of Meditation & Entrainment
I hope this is helpful to you and wish you much peace and joy
