I agree with everything said above.

I would like to add, if the upheaval becomes too violent for you, or more than you can handle, keep meditating, but bring back the time you meditate.

For instance, instead of 20 minute sessions, go back to 10 minute sessions until the pressure deminishes.

You can slowly build up the meditation time when you feel you are up to it again.
