Hi Pan,
Thank you for posting your story! I have been meditating with LifeFlow for a year now, it has been the most amazing year of my life in terms of Life lessons and personal growth, and I am quite sure that Life Flow has played a huge part in keeping me sane.
You were talking with a few others about happiness, emotions and their opposites, something I have been interested in for a long time, the question of achieving Balance. I like how Giles expressed it, that happiness is always there, it is just waiting to be uncovered. I see this as something which we experience on many levels, with our Ego's, our Minds as the tool which we use to quantify, judge, deal with day-to-day issues in our lives, needing the extremes of emotion to experience the World we live in. But underneath all that, we have a spiritual core, which only knows happiness, peace if you like. I believe that it is a question of letting go of the Ego, and learning to live from your True Inner Self, that part of you which knows only peace and happiness. Like gradually letting go of the 'baggage' we all accumulate and carry around with us, bit by bit, and so allowing our true selves to shine.
Many congrats on ovecoming your phobia of rollercoasters... that is something I would still like to do!!!
All the best,
Chris
