Default compressed ultra low freqency

5hz and other low frequencies.
I'm curious about the fact on how all that all ultra low frequensies are being reproduced. As far as I now, humans are only able to hear frequencies of above 20Hz. below are subject to feel only. Right?
All audio equipment specially headphones and speakers do perform very sub-linear and perform very poor or not at all at these frequencies.
LifeForm instructions told me to play as is... The first thing I noticed was a very deep (pretty loud) deep hum. I do have an high end audio-system that is able to produce deep tones, but don't know anything about the linearity. What is the right amount these tones... Linearity is pretty much a non defined variable in this matter.

Other: Can ultra low frequency be compressed at all. What's the frequency range of mp3? 0-xxKhz depending on the bitrate?
In case of binaural beats at low levels... Is it still present in compressed format or completely masked?

A few comments would be appreciated. (raven?)
